Automatic Ticket Vending machines are installed at MG Road,Indiranagar & Baiyappanahalli stations to enable passengers buy tokens and load value on their smart cards by cash.

Customer Care

The Customer care is located on the station to assist passengers regarding any problem about their tickets. It is usually located between entry and exit gates and is accessible from both paid and unpaid area.Those who need to pay excess fares or obtain assistance with malfunctioning tickets may also visit the Customer Care at stations.

Passenger Information Display Boards are installed near the Automatic gates and on platform to provide real-time information to passengers about the arrival of trains.

AFC Gates

  • Let elderly and children pass through first..
  • Keep your belongings and clothes close while passing through gate.
  • Take care of your children while passing through gate. Children less than 3 ft. height to be kept ahead and close to you.
  • Smart card holders to ensure proper entry and exit at the exit gates

  • Stop and reverse after passing through the gate.
  • Pause while passing through the gate.
  • Try to jump over the AFC gates to make entry/exit.

Platform

  • Stand in queue while when waiting for the train.
  • Stand back from yellow line near the edge of platform.
  • Let passengers exit from the train first.
  • Watch your feet as you step over the gap between the train and platform edge.
  • Wait for the next train if the doors have started to close.

  • Contact Namma Metro staff if any belonging falls on track.
  • Any unattended belonging should be reported to station staff/ Namma Metro security.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

In case of fire at the stations:

  • There are manual call points for giving a fire alarm signal if fire is discovered.
  • Follow instructions given by Namma Metro staff to evacuate the station.
  • Use the nearest escalator or staircase to reach the street level.
  • Leave the station through nearest exit immediately.
  • Take care when walking to the exit.
